Have you ever heard of Pin- Up artist Rockin' Jelly Bean. SO SWEET! Literally. Check out his babes. Smokin' if you ask me. Japan's best kept secret. Not really, but kinda. Pretty sure he draws for Hef too. Love you Hef for finding the best pin up artists in de world!
My First Hat I Drew On
This is the first (and only...) hat I have drawn on! It's a V Co Bratrud Cheese Hat... with my lil Baby Love on it. Was just trying to let the freehand flow on this one...

Oh yeah, my script isn't as janky anymore- been working on my Mike G letters, fonts, typography, and calligraphy-
Main focus in terms of art right now- establishing my lettering and my character
Here are some other pieces I have done recently

Roger Skateboards
Have you heard about Roger Skateboards?
LoL. Well famous skateboard artist Michael Sieben and Stacy Lowery just started it. They are going for a grass roots approach and I love it. This brand is defiantly on the move. Funny Ass Shit.

Beware Of The Humans Art Show
On Saturday night, the Lobero Theatre was where it was at! Beware Of The Humans is a clothing line by Joe Beraldo, another 805 hommie that was the main feature of the show, as well as the theme surrounding the event. Joe hand picked a group of talented SB locos to show case their work at the famous theater. See the pics below...
Evol from The Seventh Letter Crew down in Los Angeles came up. This painting/ drawing of the pit bull was probably my favorite. Mad skillz.
Beware Of The Humans clothing on lock deez.
The zombie Pin Up by Ben Kendall. Sicki to the gnar.
I would have to say that this one was the hit of the night, again more works out of talented Ben Kendall. His realism is off the charts. More pictures to come of the live painting...stay tuned.

Estevan Oriol
Juxtapoz contributing photo editor Estevan Oriol, known for his raw images of LA's street scene and lowrider culture, currently has a sicki billboard up in Los Angeles. Oriol has established himself as a powerhouse within urban culture and photography, collaborating with Upper Playground, creating Joker Brand Clothing with Mr Cartoon, all the while working on a new book, Ink, due out soon.
I love his work! The pictures he takes are so raw, it just gets me. Maybe because I grew up in SB, I love this culture, or maybe because I am half Mexican, either way, I dig it.

Stowellen- By Ben Kendall
My friend Ben Kendall is the best artist I know in Santa Barbra. Very very talented to say the very least. He can draw like no one I have ever met and now he is making jewelry.
He is having a trunk show in Los Angeles to preview his line Stowellen. Stowellen is a new line of hand carved abalone and ebony jewelry mixed with real feathers by Benjamin Kendall.
Join for refreshments and a peek at the collection.
When: April 3rd, 6:30PM-9PM
Where: Studio U, 1027 Abbot Kinney Blvd, Venice, Ca (directly above primitivo wine bistro)
Shepard X Live Strong X Lance Armstrong
It is fun keeping an eye on Shepard. He has blown up so hard in the past 2 years, although he has been blowing up for a long time now... for those of you who are up on your art game know this. I was pretty damn star struck the first time I saw him at an art show in Laguna Beach, the Juxtapoz Factor, where he was DJing, one of his favorite past times.
Yet another amazing collaboration, Lance asked Shepard to do his ad campaign for Live Strong. As if Lance needs more celeb attention,I guess the guy is very deserving and is quite accomplished. Whateves. Hommie is cool.
Shepard notes:
"Cancer has affected my life like it has millions of others. Both my mom’s sisters died of breast cancer and my mom underwent a double preventative mastectomy because of her genetic predisposition to breast cancer. A good friend of mine, Justin Van Hoy is about to have a bone marrow transplant because of his Leukemia. When Lance Armstrong asked me to participate in his “Stages” art project, and create a mural for the side of the Montalban Theater in Hollywood, I was honored and glad to help the cause. Check out Lance’s foundation at www.livestrong.org.

SWINDLE Mag Featuring Mike Giant
As if I couldn't talk about Mike Giant anymore, I just read this article in SWINDLE Mag on my lunch break. I propose that you do the same here.
The article touches on Mike's inspiration and what has lead him to be where he is now. Not only does he draw for five hours a day, he really likes porn and having sex. Two things I did not know, that I now do. Ha! Maybe that is why he is so good at drawing hot beezies. It is not featured online, but in the magazine there is a page dedicated to a "day in the life" of Mike G. I thought it was pretty interesting. I encourage you to read this article, as he always inspires me, and hopefully inspires you as well.
Art Steez
Above, I was so inspired by Creature that I wanted to create a dark/ gothic pin-up while using the green and purple combination of colors. She is a cutie, but I am sure she will transform later on, as she is in her infancy of development. I am also planning on a doing a huge Lily Munster.
RIP THE RIPPER
Just got a hold of this clip. Welcome to one segment of my job and pretty much my life.
